Former Blue Band and POTL performing members who are paid members of the Penn State Alumni Association are considered members of the Alumni Blue Band Association. This changed in 2022 when the PSAA changed the membership model for all Alumni organization. No dues are paid directly from ABBA members to ABBA. 

Old membership model included the following types:

All membership types include:

• Invitations to participate in University Sponsored events throughout the year.
• Invitations to social events like the Blue/White weekend Arts & Architecture tailgate, Happy Hour with graduating Blue Band seniors, Post-Homecoming Parade Social, and other ABBA sponsored events.
• Invitation to run for a board seat or sit on board committees.
• Special communications regarding ABBA and the current Blue Band.

ONLY REGISTERED PERFORMING AND DUAL PERFORMING MEMBERS ARE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE AT HOMECOMING

YOU MUST BE A  PAID MEMBER OF THE PENN STATE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION & REGISTERED PERFORMING / DUAL PERFORMING MEMBER PRIOR TO SUBMITTING YOUR HOMECOMING REGISTRATION.  FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA WILL RESULT IN YOUR HOMECOMING REGISTRATION BEING CANCELED AND REFUNDED

Pride Of The Lions alumni can perform with Alumni Band for any Pep Band performances, which happen throughout the year both at University Park and in other locations.
