Favorite thing from band: For me, it all comes back to the family you choose - and I got extremely lucky with the extended Blue Band family I have now.

Favorite thing from band: Blue Band is where I found “my” Penn State. Through the Blue Bland I was introduced so many integral experiences, opportunities, organizations and amazing people that make up my Penn State. It is where I was first introduced to Honor and Tradition. It still brings tears to my eyes to watch the band come through the tunnel even after all of these years. FTG!!

Favorite thing from band: Homecoming 2013 - 4 OT game vs. Michigan - White Out - beautiful day - incredible day to be performing with the Alumni Blue Band!

Favorite thing from band: Favorite memory of the Blue Band was playing Testify in the rain outside the Outback Bowl. It was,  and probably still is, the greatest playing of that song ever.

Favorite thing from band: My senior year I was one of the 33 members of the band selected to accompany the team to the Croke Park Classic in Dublin, Ireland. So much fun for my first time in Europe!

Favorite thing from band: Met lifelong friends and created memories of "back in the day," and returning with ABBA to hear the roar of the crowd.

Favorite thing from band: Watching Pete Giftopoulos intercept Vinny Testaverde win the national championship in the Fiesta Bowl. Watching a gust of wind blow Dr. Diehl's music as an alternate only to hear him say "Babe get that music" over his megaphone. Then have to chase it down including jumping a fence to the turf field. The band game he cheer.

Favorite thing from band: My favorite Blue Band memory was stepping onto the field for my first White Out. The energy in the stadium was unmatched and it is a moment that I will cherish for the rest of my life!

Favorite thing from band: Getting to meet many lifelong friends and having the opportunity to march at the 2023 Rose Bowl!

Favorite thing from band: There's so many awesome memories, it's hard to pick one. I would say 2013 OT Homecoming Michigan win (my senior year), and being able to share the field with my Dad (Trumpet '86) and my then boyfriend, now husband (Trumpet, '12) was something I will never forget. Also, 2011 win against Illinois with the missed kick at the end of the game. I was jumping up and down and cheering so much in the icy stands that I fell down, but it was worth it.
