At the sixth annual Penn State Day at Knoebels held on May 21, 2016, attendees were serenaded by one of the largest Alumni Pep Bands ever. More than 40 ABBA members lent their talents to ensure a successful day.
It rained most of the morning, but the skies started to clear up once the pep band started playing Soak Up the Sun. The band was the main attraction to the event, which was hosted by multiple Alumni Association groups and Commonwealth Campuses. Also in attendances was the Nittany Lion Mascot and Paul Clifford, the new CEO of the Penn State Alumni Association.
The band provided music during the lunch of hot dogs and hamburgers and then ended the gig with a quick three-piece performance of The Nittany Lion, Fight on State and Victory. The organizers already plan to have the band return next May for the next Knoebels Penn State Day.
